November 17, 2004 -- This year one can enjoy Queen Victorias actual five course, family Christmas lunch as served at Windsor Castle in 1899.
Classic Dining Moments Limited has recreated the Royal event supplying it in an attractive pack which contains a 60 minute CD of popular Victorian carol music, invitations, Victorian trivia and much more.
The luncheon recipes are illustrated in one of two booklets (the other is all about life in Victorian times). There is even an ingredient-shopping list to assist whomever does the food shopping.
Queen Victoria in her latter years regularly fell asleep during her large family Christmas luncheons! To stop your friends and family doing this the pack contains five Victorian parlour games including old style Blindman's Buff and Forfeits.
Each gift box contains step by step instructions for preparing and cooking the lunch, organising the party and even authenticating the period with props and decorations.
Classic Dining Moments has a range of 10 other dining events.
These are supplied as innovative, themed dinner party packs. Menus first chosen for Kings, Queens and celebrated others provide the bills of fare.
The classic packs make ideal gifts for anyone entertaining on these long autumn and winter evenings.
$49.95 (24.95) is the recommended Retail price.
